There are 3 shared bathrooms, a large kitchen, and a common area.

When you are staying in Åhaven, you have access to large common areas both indoor and outdoor. On the 1st. floor is a cosy corner for newspaper reading and a larger area with couches. On the ground floor, is the large kitchen area and a common area for dining and relaxation. The garden has a lot to offer; there are lots of nooks and crannies and a large area for a campfire, where you can cook your dinner. Furthermore, there is an outdoor shelter with a barbeque in it. The garden is enclosed and is meant for fun and games for children of all ages. The play area includes a swing set, a slide, a sandpit, and a large grass area for ball games and other activities.

In Åhaven, you are responsible for making your own breakfast. You can enjoy your food in the large common room, or, if the weather allows for it, in the terrace right outside the kitchen. The local grocery shop is only 200 meters away.

The beach is only 400m away. Here you can buy big ice creams and cold drinks. Bønnerup Strand is located by Kattegat and it has one of Djursland's best and child-friendly beaches. There are amazing scenic areas, a terrific atmosphere among the old fishermen houses, and a cosy harbour environment where you can buy fresh fish to bring home to the barbeque. Åhaven is located within walking distance of the beach, marina, and several lovely restaurants.
